Tips Rahasia Menang Lomba Cerpen

Apakah kamu sudah keseringan kalah lomba menulis (cerpen, puisi, artikel, dll), sudah kesekian kali sakit hati bin kesal karena sampai detik ini belum pernah menang, atau jangan-jangan sudah talak tiga sama yang namanya lomba lantaran
selalu keok?

ini dia solusinya. Dan, kamu wajib
membacanya kemudian langsung praktek. Setelah itu, berdoalah lomba berikutnya kamu bisa juara. Okokok?

9 Tips rahasia menang lomba cerpen:
1. Tulis sesuai tema, keluar dari tema =kalah. Kamu harus jeli melihat tema lomba tersebut, yang kira-kira memiliki peluang menang lebih besar. Temukan ide yang unik dari tema tersebut untuk dijadikan cerpen yang memikat.

2. Tulislah  sesuatu yang berbeda dan unik, inilah yang dinamakan
orisinalitas alias keaslian ide. Tema
boleh sama, tapi ide cerita kamu
harus berbeda. Kalau ikut-ikutan
menulis yang sudah jamak ditulis
penulis-penulis sebelumnya, dijamin
cerpen kamu itu tidak akan dilirik juri.
Isu tentang lokalitas salah satunya.
Maka, tulislah apa yang dekat di
sekitarmu, di daerah asalmu,
tentunya sesuatu  yang menarik untuk ditulis. Jika tidak menarik, ya buat apa ditulis.

3. Perhatikan syarat lombanya. Patuhi secara ketat ketentuan perlombaan, mulai dari banyak halaman, spasi, ukuran kertas, margin (garis teks), jenis huruf, besar huruf, sinopsis, nomor halaman, biodata, formulir (jika diminta), surat pernyataan keaslian karya (jika diminta), surat pengantar lomba, dll.

4. Penulisan yang sesuai dengan kaidah Bahasa Indonesia dan mematuhi EYD. Harap diingat, bahasa baku dalam sastra/fiksi itu jangan dipukul rata sama dengan bahasa baku ilmiah.
Kalau masih bingung macam apa
makhluk bahasa baku sastra, silakan
baca cerpen yang sudah dimuat di
koran-koran nasional yang ditulis para cerpenis top.

5. Gunakan bahasa yang sederhana,
mengalir lancar, ceritanya mudah
dipahami dan ada pesan yang kuat
terkandung di dalamnya. Salah satu
indikasi pesan cerpen itu sampai
adalah kamu masih terus kebayang
terus cerita cerpennya sampai ke
kamar mandi, malahan terbawa
dalam mimpi.

6. Ketahui tujuan lomba tersebut
apakah berkaitan dengan momen
tertentu seperti Hari Ibu, Proklamasi Kemerdekaan, hari-hari penting tertentu, dll. Nah, usahakan menulis sesuai dengan momen tersebut jika kamu masih ingin mendapat hadiah.

7. Siapa penyelenggara lomba, dan
tulislah sesuai dengan keinginan
mereka. Misalkan yang mengadakan
lomba cerpen tersebut adalah ikatan
ibu-ibu kelurahan, jangan kamu tulis
masalah bapak-bapak yang kesurupan di hutan lalu ditolong orang utan, gak nyambung ding. Dijamin tak dilirik, capek deh. Kondisikan tema cerpen kamu itu sesuai dengan kepentingan si
penyelenggara, apalagi jika itu adalah majalah/koran, instansi tertentu, ormas, dll. Tentunya mereka mengadakan lomba yang intinya tidak jauh-jauh dari kepentingan mereka.
Jika penyelanggara yang ada di
daerah, maka WAJIB hukumnya
kamu menulis cerpen yang berseting
di daerah tersebut jika masih ingin
mendampatkan tropi juara.

8. Jika penyelenggara lomba adalah
institusi yang terkenal sebagai pelopor sastra misalkan Majalah Horison, Koran Kompas, Dewan Kesenian Jakarta, Dewan Kesenian Lampung, Dewan Kesenian Riau, dll. usahakan menulis cerpen yang aroma sastranya lebih kental. Kalau masih nekat mengirim cerpen lebay bin alay kamu yang sepenuh bumi menggunakan bahasa gaul itu dijamin sampai kiamat cerpen itu tidak akan menang. Lulus
sensor panitia saja sudah sebuah
keajaiban.

9. Ketahui siapa dewan jurinya dan
pelajari cerpen seperti apa yang
mereka sukai. Jika sudah tahu selera.dewan jurinya macam mana, tinggal sesuaikan saja penulisan kamu sesuai dengan gaya tersebut. Karena soal selera tidak akan pernah menipu.
